Recommendation!

Hi all,

Today I have a recommendation for you:
If you like (love) word art, here is the place you should visit - grands9creations.

Nana (or Sue to us) is making the most amazing word art but now there is another reason to visit. Her 7 year old granddaughter, Allison, is moving in on her territory with her first ever word art launched yesterday. It's PERFECT! And I know it's not because it's easy so it must mean the kid's got talent. See for yourself...

Also look at the newer post where she is sewing her first pillow case by herself. She has a future in creating - both manually and digitally.

Please leave her a comment. We all know how great it makes US fell, so think how fantastic it will make a 7 year old feel.

You can get Allison's word art and all of Sue's if you click on the image above and browse around a bit.

Good Luck and See You Soon.

The day has finally come…

I am now able to say:

“Welcome to Nothing but Freebies – The blog where everything is free”

The blog layout is not exactly as I had planned, but it is close – and I’m content. I’m definitely NOT an html person, and the road has been long, winding and – at times – very frustrating. But the reason that I now have an acceptable looking blog is Karen! Karen Watson, a.k.a. The Background Fairy, was kind enough to give me both help and support, for which I am eternally grateful. Thank you so much Karen! You should all go visit her site and enjoy her beautiful vintage backgrounds and other stuff for blogs: http://www.backgroundfairy.com/.

Furthermore, I will like to thank Vanessa Fellows @ Scrapz’n Bitz Design http://www.scrapznbitz.blogspot.com/ for her beginner’s advice. As a novice in the world of digital scrapping blogs, I need all the advice I can get. Thank you Vanessa! I promise to do my best to follow your advice.

But now I’m here and I have decided to make my first gift to you a small tribute to my home town, Copenhagen. Below you find download links to a Copenhagen Paper Pack with both photo papers and distressed/burned papers. I really hope you will enjoy it.

A somewhat bigger tribute will take up the rest of March. It will consist of a lot of material about my other “home town” and “the love of my life”: New York City! So come back tomorrow to get the first part of the “I Love New York” mega kit.

But enough about things to come. Here is what is happening right here, right now.

The Copenhagen Paper Pack consists of the following files for you to download:

17 Original Photo Papers, 12x12 300 ppi – ca. 44 MB
30 Burned Papers, 12x12 72 ppi – ca. 18 MB (for those with slow connections)
30 Burned Papers, 12x12 300 ppi Part 1 & 2 – ca. 42 MB & 48 MB

I have also included a What Is It List that will tell you what’s in the pictures.

One of Vanessa’s tips was “Don’t make the files too big”. Let me apologize to both Vanessa and you. These files are, as you can see above, not the smallest, but I prefer quality to quick download, and hope you will forgive me. If you have problems downloading, please contact me and I will make you a smaller version.

SORRY!
These freebies are no longer available.
Check my store - they might be there.

I hope you’ll enjoy my designs and return for more tomorrow…
